I found this concept a difficult one to learn through networked and global learning and wondered whether I was truly learning something through this approach properly.
I got as far as running a couple of times and wearing my fitbit. It sent me details of my busiest day and most sluggish day.... BUT.....
I should have joined the online community such as this one Fitbit online community or spent more time investigating the concepts around how to make time to train for a 5k also. I have signed up to run a 5k on the 4th October 2015, so I thought that this may have been another motivator to keep going, but I have still found this not the most fantastic way to learn about running (networked and global learning).
I think what would have worked better would have been cooking or something around learning an instrument. These can be googled on Youtube and had I have had a keyboard or piano I probably would have learnt these things instead. I wanted to learn how to play songs from Frozen, see the Youtube clip below. This is a great example of learning something really cool through a networked and global learning process. It is highly visual and explains things really well. Oh well next time, or after I have finished my studies and have more time to do cool stuff!!
